Discovery+ streaming service to launch in January, starts at $4.99 per month

Discovery today announced it will launch a new streaming service called discovery+ on January 4, 2021. The network that owns channels like Discovery, Animal Planet, Science Channel, TLC, Food Network, and HGTV is betting big that there is demand for its content through an all-you-can-eat interface.
