Toshiba Memory is changing its name to Kioxia

Toshiba on Thursday announced plans to rebrand itself as Kioxia (pronounced kee-ox-ee-uh), a portmanteau of the Japanese work kioku meaning “memory” and the Greek word axia which means “value.”
